The cake that changed everything
My sister asked for a custom cake for her birthday. When she was quoted hundreds of dollars, I questioned it… so I decided to make it myself. I quickly learned that custom cakes are a true luxury: they take time, skill, patience and a whole lot of heart.
A tiny kitchen, a long waitlist
Cakes for family turned into cakes for friends, then friends of friends. For a whole year I baked out of my small home kitchen, and I had to turn down orders simply because there wasn't room.
Boy mom x2 & a real kitchen
We welcomed our second son, and Kingdom Sweets moved into a much larger kitchen with commercial-grade equipment. More space means more dates on the calendar and bigger party packages.
Sugar cookies & edible printing
Custom sugar cookies, edible printing and treat drops are joining the menu, so your whole dessert table can match, right down to the favours.
See you at the farmers market
You'll find me and my husband at the market with a table full of treats. We also run a tow truck business, so yes, the tow truck cake was personal.
